Højeruplund at Stevns Klint

Højeruplund is a historic and scenic area at Stevns Klint – known for the old church ruin, which dramatically crashed partly into the sea in 1928 and for which fish clay is registered on the list of UNESCO World Heritage. Here, nature, geology, and cultural history meet at one of Denmark's most iconic sites.

The area is managed and maintained by Selskabet Højeruplund and is open to the public all year round.

The church ruins can be visited daily from 10 am to 5 pm during the summer season (Easter to 31 October) and during the winter period when Traktørstedet Højeruplund is open.

The company is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the area, including public toilets (behind the Café).

The operation is financed through a parking fee of DKK 50 per vehicle, which is refunded upon visiting Stevns Klint Experience, Boesdalsvej 14, 4673 Rødvig.

The board thanks everyone who helps preserve this unique site through the parking fee.

Photography is permitted for private use. If photography is desired for commercial purposes, the church ruins books through the company Højeruplund.

Flying drones is generally not permitted for the sake of nature, but free drone footage from Stevns Klint can be obtained via the Skyfish archive.
