23rd November 2021 General Meeting
Højeruplund Company's general meeting at Traktørstedet Højeruplund
Tuesday 23 November 2021 at 20:15
A fair number of members had turned up, both to hear Lise Søelund talk about mythical and historical features from Stevns, and to participate in the general meeting, which had particularly garnered interest due to the proposal from the ”culture group” that the old museum building should be preserved and used as a cultural centre and meeting place.
Swinging Baroque Music 10 August 2021
As is tradition, Højerup Old Church will be the setting for a concert on 10/8 at 7:30 PM, this time featuring the recorder quartet ”In consort”.”
”In consort” is made up of the four recorder players:
Gertie Johnsson, Lene Langballe, Dorte Lester Nauta and Pernille Ebert Spissky.
The four musicians, all of whom were educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Music with subsequent studies in Europe and the USA, have long since made their mark on the Danish and international music scene. The quartet primarily plays music from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, but also spices up their concerts with music from modern times. The recorders are replicas of original instruments. ”In consort” means to accompany each other in unity and harmony. An exciting and vibrant concert is in store.
At the concert, works by G. Ph. Telemann and J. S. Bach, among others, will be performed, as well as original compositions for the quartet.
NB: Due to coronavirus restrictions, you must reserve a space for the church service by sending an email to formand@hb39.dk or call Jens Carl Jørgensen on 2893 5535. Places are limited. The church opens at 7pm.
Speakers and chairs will then be set up outside the church so that the concert can also be heard outside, and there will be no reserved seating there.
