After the concert in the church there is coffee table for payment

at Traktørstedet Højeruplund,

where music and sing-alongs continue.

Loudspeakers and chairs are being set up outside the church.,

so the concert can also be heard and enjoyed outdoors.

Tuesday 8/8 at 7:30 PM, the Højeruplund society invites you to a song and music evening in the old Højerup Church.

It is flautist Tine Karlshøj-Andersen and pianist Andreas Flensted-Jensen who fill the old church with beautiful tones. ”A Late Summer Evening in the Elf King's Realm” is the concert's name and theme. The music will be some of the very most beautiful from the classical repertoire for flute and piano.

The concert takes its starting point from some of the tales and myths about Stevns. There will be sunrise over the cliff, marsh hag's brew, the cliff king, and dancing elf maids.

Tine Karlshøj-Andersen was born and raised on Stevns. She trained at the conservatories in Malmö and Aarhus and has played with orchestras in both Denmark and Sweden. She now gives concerts that often focus on conveying the music and making it present for the audience.

Andreas Flensted-Jensen trained at the Institute of Musicology in Copenhagen and has a thriving career as an accompanist, pianist and singer in various ensembles.

Tine and Andreas have been playing together since 2011 and always deliver top-class concert experiences. Here, a good atmosphere and warm humour go hand in hand with a warm and lively sound and captivating musicality.

Concerts begin with the Højeruplund Fanfare on the parforce horn by Jesper Jørgensen.

If the church is full, there are chairs and a sound system so you can also enjoy the concert from outside.

After the concert in the church, there will be a coffee reception for a fee at Traktørstedet Højeruplund, where music and singalongs will continue. The concert is free of charge.
