Latest News from the Højeruplund Society 2025

Press Release:

The company Højeruplund is holding its traditional annual song and music evening
Tuesday 12 August at 7:30 PM
in the old church in Højeruplund.

The duo has a great hold on their audience and spreads joy with their fantastic humour and musicality, both together and individually.

Since 2015, when their musical collaboration began, it has resulted in many truly memorable musical highlights for audiences around the country. Something special happens when these two likeable musical people take the stage together. Their musicality, energy, professionalism, and not least their good humour are incredibly infectious to the audience, leaving everyone feeling lighter and happier than when they arrived.

They have had spring, summer, Christmas and New Year concerts, including at Teaterbygningen in Køge, Store Heddinge Church, Aalholm Church, Klostermarkskirken in Ringsted, etc. They also perform at events in lodges and at private parties.

The audience is presented with a wide repertoire of opera, operetta, musicals, jazz, songs and piano pieces (including four-hand arrangements), with an energy that spills out over the stage.

The programme features major composers such as Lehar, Puccini, Bizet, Gershwin, Kai Normann Andersen, and many more. The two effervescent musicians, with their high spirits and wide repertoire, always guarantee a great atmosphere and professionalism.

The evening begins traditionally with Jesper Jørgensen on the hunting horn with his own Højeruplund fanfare.

In keeping with tradition, there will also be some singalongs during the first half in the old church.

Entry is free.

The evening continues after just under an hour in the church with singing, music, and coffee at the café – the coffee is at your own expense, however.

Everyone is welcome!

This year's participants include two local musicians:

Tatiana Kisselova, soprano, and
